Campus Visit Day 2020

Campus Visit Day is a wonderful opportunity for admitted students to experience all that the University of Michigan has to offer. You will be able to connect with faculty, current students, and other members of the community to learn about your program and the ways you’ll be supported at the School of Education.

Welcome Message From the Dean

I am delighted to welcome you to the School of Education community. We are eager to introduce you to your prospective colleagues, including an accomplished student body, a world-renowned faculty, and an energetic and supportive staff.

As a School of Education in an excellent public research university with over 200 years of history, we can offer you unique and plentiful opportunities to develop both as a scholar and as an individual. Wherever your interests lie, we look forward to helping you explore them deeply, even as we challenge you to broaden your horizons. If you join our School of Education community, then you will have the support of research centers, access to generous funding and fellowships, individualized mentoring, and a progressive curriculum that will develop your capacity to serve as a powerful force of change in education.

Perhaps our greatest strength is the students who choose to call the School of Education their home. Our excellence increases as each student brings to our school community diverse experiences, perspectives, and interests, contributing to the rich discourse and convergence of ideas in the classroom and beyond.

We are honored to support your academic journey, and hope that you will choose to join the School of Education community.
